Just so I'm following and don't screw anything up, am I correct in thinking the 1st round we can pick any team regardless of location even if they've been chosen and then the 2nd round we choose either the pitching or hitting from a team NOT chosen and is in proximity to where we live? Sorry all, just want to make sure.

You are correct except in the first round you cannot pick a franchise that has already been chosen. I.E., I have the Phillies so you cannot pick them, but you can pick any available franchise. Only in the 2nd round are you restricted by the geographically closest 3 available half franchises to pick from.....

Count me as dazed & confused...in your answer to one's question you said in rd 1 we could take any team regardless of geography as long as it had not already been chose. Hello? I thought the whole premise of the HOMETOWN theme was you had to pick your team from either HOME TOWN city/state or city/state current residence?

Now youre saying all that doesnt matter til rd 3?

Its all in the rules MLB, not sure what the confusion is about. This thread was not a draft Round, but a signup with your hometown & team. The draft is 2 rounds in the ILC. There you get 1 franchise (any) and one half (from 3 closest remaining). There is no 3rd round.
