Maybe I should have had you run my team, cause as suprised as you are with how well you are doing, I'm equally suprised at how poorly my squad is doing. They do seem to be playing a little beter of lat though.

Big - that was when I knew something was weird about our trade talks, I was like "why isn't he going for it now?" - your team is hella competitive for this season, no question. Nice RH SPs, balanced lineup, etc.
So far not real happy with our record, not sure Wrigley my best choice for park but oh well, hopefully we will start hitting more HRs than we give up. Hamilton not hitting for me in ANY leagues, pretty weird given that card....

Qk I was flying a long there pretty well, even managed to Hammer you in a slug-fest in game one of that series and take it 2 games to 1, but then we ran into those Snow guys..... I'm now looking up from 3rd place, but still just a single game out. This Division could be a battle all the way....

Well, after a dismal 4-13 start, my team is battling back to .500. It's disappointing to see how successful Bigmahon has been....considering he's in my division! :wink: He has a payroll like mine. I knew Terry would beat the crap out of us in the East with his all-star team.
Meanwhile, the commish's 10-game losing streak and overall record is quite surprising. I've invited some voodoo witch doctors to my house to perform a transferrance ritual where Ninerspahn bad luck mysteriously switches to Big and Terry. Wish me luck!

No question. Only div with 3 teams over .500 and all 4 teams with + run differential. Most definitely a dogfight.

Bad news for any of you looking to pick up players from my squad, is that because it's so bad I don't think anything I do will help so I'm not inclined to make drastic changes.
That said if you see parts you want for this year that do not dig to deeply into players for next year and beyond, you all are welcome to make offers...

42-42 .. about where I expected ... not expected though is that we still haven't started the prospect draft. Of course I don't care too much since I don't have a pick. ;)

we will be delayed here for a bit, how long I'm not sure, but I know from other leagues that nythawk has had a medical emergency in the past week and a half and has not yet returned to our little corner of the world. It's been posted that he should be back soon, but I'm not sure how long soon is.
