Gotcha, thanks! Are you talking about Maicer or Cesar Izturis? Also, BJ Upton is still available in CF and Huff in LF.

Hate to be the bearer of bad news, but ths team needs help, ALOT of it.

70-75% of your salary needs to be spent on hitting when you are in a hitting environment.

You need depth in your pen. R1's won't cut it.

Your hitters need to be N power in this type of environment. Pierre & Ellis are W.

You win by outhitting your opponents @ home. SLG will win it for you. Build a team and try to win as many home games as possible.

Well the difficult thing is all the players I had set up for rankings were N power but I guess I didn't rank them well enough and that's why I got the ones I did.

So here are my waiver claims I have in so far:

1. Picking up Posey, dropping Ellis.
2. Picking up Granderson, dropping Pierre.

I plan on dropping Pedroia as well and looking into getting a cheaper 2B, which will leave me enough money to get one or two decent R2/R3.

I think that will improve my team substantially.

What do you think about Aaron Hill for a replacement for Pedroia?

He is only .60M which would open up 8M for me to spend on my bullpen. He has N power against L and R pitchers. 3 on defense.

So update:

Not sure if this was the right move to do but I am perfectly fine with it happening. I was able to trade Pedroia to get Brandon Phillips, so I am set at 2nd now. Hopefully those waivers go through and I will have just enough money to a pretty decent reliever after that.

I think Phillips is a little overpriced, but now you maintain your defense and improve your chances of him being on the field.
