AL Only Keeper League Season 3

Looks like I spent the most money...would be nice if that translated into a championship!! I'm certainly not in the best shape in terms of keepers for the 2010 season though...that may end up being a compilation from the scrap heap!

Yeah, I think the only decent Pitching keeper I'll have is Neftali Feliz...guess I went a little too heavy with the "win now" philosophy. Oh well, just makes it more of a challenge!

I will be lucky to win 50 games in 2009. A lot of it was just because of where I was in the draft (pick #11)...but 2010 and 2011 should be much better. I probably have the youngest team overall, at least in terms of "keepers".

I really think this format is interesting:
- having only 1 league to pick from makes the available
talent pool per team very realistic- ESP. being AL.

- being able to protect only 15 players between seasons will make the end of year protection choices agonizing and VERY interesting. This makes the "keeper" aspects really fascinatin!

I really did my best to build a 2010 based team. Basically the BlueBombers will do what they can in 2009, and try to shine in 2010. My 2009 pitching is OK, but the 2009 hitting will likely be dead last. The ability to plan 2010 is kind of a one-time possibility, since the 2010 ratings book was out before 2009 even started. Having said that, the early 2011 real life performances might also influence my 2010 protection choices.
