FROM PAGE 1 of this thread RULE 4:
[b:62b9ead21a]4) Only those players without MLB experience signed by MLB teams are eligible for any prospect draft.
a)Spring Propsect Eligibility: Prospects are defined as any player that has a signed contract with an MLB organization that has no MLB experience [color=red:62b9ead21a]prior to the start of the Propsect draft.[/color:62b9ead21a][/b:62b9ead21a]
For this draft doesn't matter if it's draftee or signee, if the contract wasn't signed prior to the start of our draft, he's ineligible.
The rule was written to prevent someone from waiting to make a draft pick until the player signed .sign after the draft and usually applies more to the Summer prospect draft, but it is a rule none the less.
That said if no one has a problem with it, we can let it go seeing as he has signed now.
I would have responded sooner, but I had my pupils dilated at an eye appointment this morning and could not see the computer screen clearly until now.
It was a miricle I posted my previous post truth be told, becuase i was doing it half blind.
