question...if I pick ARod because he belongs to Texas, do I have to use that card or can I use any card of his?

Also, why can't the Dodgers take Alexander? His highest card is Philadelphia not St. Louis. He is a FA.

The only FAs are players who don't have cards with one of the twelve franchises. So Alexander is not available, except for StL.

I think this issue came up before, regarding Eddie Collins -- you can only use the card for your franchise. The Texas ARod, as with the Montreal Pedro, is not available to anybody. Only the Yankees can use ARod, and only the Yankees ARod.
