Reminds me of the Casey Stengel story:

Casey watched his rookie left fielder trying to catch fly balls hit out to him in practice. The left fielder kept making mistakes, either charging when he should have retreated, or retreating when he should have charged, or just dropping the ball.

Finally, Casey couldn't stand it anymore. He put on his glove, smacked his fist into it several times, and marched out to left field with a big frown on his face. "Son, step aside, let me show you how it's done!"

So Casey took his first fly ball, charged it, overshot, ran back, and then had the ball pop out of his glove and land on the grass. Next one, he retreated, and the ball dropped short in front of him. Third one, he raced to his left, but had the ball pop right out of his glove.

Not even picking up the balls, Casey marched over to the apprentice left fielder and said, "YOU LOUSED UP LEFT FIELD SO BAD, NO-ONE CAN PLAY IT!!!!"

Seriously though, it occurs to me that you will need to have at least 24 players to enter your team. Will that work if you only keep 9? Will you get 15 more players through the draft? I can't remember, but that COULD be an issue.

This is a little bit of a loop hole but there is no way to have a good answer for it, keyzick/anybody in this boat will just have to make their picks in the supplemental rounds. So they wouldn't be jumping ahead of/benefiting from not having 15 actually I would say they would be hurt.

Remember you could not have 15 carded guys or a mass movement of your players to the NL. And we do have supplemental rounds so it should work out okay.

Yeah, I assumed I'd just be picking up the remainder of my roster in the supplemental rounds.

This actually hurts me, since I'll be trying to pick my 10th - 20th roster spots from the same pool everyone else is grabbing their 16th-25th roster spots. But...that's what I get for picking the One Year Wonders! (who then rolled over in the first round of playoffs!)

No still keep just 15 players that way it would help as far as having some good players to draft each year.
