No on the unleashed set.

I would say unlimited time on prospects thinking that the limit of 10 total with 4 drafted each year puts enough of a crimp on holding them too long.

The record or lottery is tougher. I see arguments for a limited lottery(bottom 2 or 3 teams max) and for straight record. Perhaps some weighted record formula with losses late in the season having less impact? Will abstain for now and if it gets close or someone sways me will vote.

looks like 2 of the 3 are decided.

draft will be by record and we'll play the regular set.

just need the rest of the votes to find out about how long we'll keep prospects.

Even in real baseball you can't hold onto prospects for an unlimited amount of time. So there should be some set time limit or some form of Rule 5 draft. After 3 years you would have too many prospects regardless and 2 would have to be dropped. If we do go with an unlimited time, then if someone had 10 picks already going into a draft they would need to release prospects before the draft or forfeit their picks. Just my $0.02

yes, Rosco I believe that is what the people voting for unlimited prospect time meant (could be wrong) but max is 10 so you'd need to drop someone if you wanted to participate in that season's prospect draft.

A rule 5 type draft could make it interesting. My thought was essentially that the 10 limit would make it less than ideal to hang to guys much past two years anyway.

Never looked but once prospects have a card do they have to be promoted or cut? some do it that way I believe but have a league that does not.
