This is an enjoyable piece, I suppose, but, really-- who knows more about winning baseball games, some sabermetric analyst, even the brightest sabermetric analyst, or Joe Morgan? I was always perplexed and a bit annoyed by the jihad against Morgan as if you couldn't find a mirror image of the same de rigueur, kneejerk thinking every day in Baseball Prospectus.

Here are a fun couple of links from a local Twins blogger doing a top
40 all time Twins series.

Other Twins mini-bios can be found on this link
(including Burnanski, Hisle) but the top names haven't come up yet:

[url]http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/vault/article/magazine/MAG1081651/index.htm[/url] about the 1903 World Series. Not a bio, but some great tidbits.

Don't forget to take a look at the videos at the end of the article.

Bill

PS How do you get the url to look like [color=cyan:36626849f2]1903 World Series [/color:36626849f2]instead of an address?

[ url = http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/vault/article/magazine/MAG1081651/index.htm] 1903 World Series [ /url ]

This is for illustrative purposes. Take out the spaces in the URL tag to get it to look like [url=http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/vault/article/magazine/MAG1081651/index.htm] 1903 World Series [/url].
