The draft works like this, each pick is a letter and number. For example, let's say your chose to be a slugger team and you got the first draft pick, then you decide to pick H1 - you'd get rights to both Frank Howard and Bob Oliver. You don't have to put both on your roster, but you have exclusive rights to both players all season long.

It is looking that this league won't fill. I'll keep it open for a few days to see if there are any more signups.

The idea here was to test whether one style of play worked better than another. In most leagues, I see a lot of slugger-type teams. So, I think a lot of managers think that is the best way to win. In this league, if we saw all 3 slugger teams win, then that would support the slugger philosophy. I would guess that the fielding/pitching teams would have done best. So, I'm surprised no one picked a draft from that category.

I would go for the pitching and defense side of this as well. I'll give that style a shot if you are going to keep this going.
