OK I picked, thankjs to all who texted me. I am going in to worship now and will be back on line in about an hour!

think kramers and I have texted each other 20+ times so far. He just texted back that he has picked.

He's also got 2 more coming back on the turn (he has my pick again per the Youkilis trade)

I'm gonna be one pick short due to that, do I just take his 40th round pick or do I get one at the very end of the draft (not a big difference, just pointing it out).

Up for debate of course - but the way i've seen it handled in other leagues of mine.

He can either take his 40th pick (and drop someone else he's already drafted to get t 40 players) get rid of an extra pick in a trade before, or just plain forfeit his pick.

You would drop to a compensatory pick at the end of the draft regardless of his decision.

thanks sknsfan. I figured as much. He could always use that pick in another trade down the road. should have just made it part of the deal, oops....but again we're only talking a difference of 3 spots so no biggie.

Based on my interpretation of the rules, although it does seem to imply uneven trades during the regular season, I should be able to make a "41st" pick and drop my choice by the following day:

no I don't have a 5th prospect pick. that was your trade with sjkorte. I'm normal except I'm missing a pick which I will make at the very end of the draft.

also, can you text me again when/if my pick comes up today (I'm 20 picks away) and I'll text you back my pick.

Wallace doesn't have a card in the 2010 set, but did play "in at least one MLB game in 2010" thus fitting the rules.

Actually he does have a card, not that it matters much.
