Is it me or has there been a more than usual amount of player and stadium drops? Has this affected anyone's draft? SGT D

I drafted my .5 pitcher in Braddock's place. I figure since it was my screw up it is only fair to be a wasted pick.

I think that yes, there are more drops and adds than any time before, but I think this is at least partially due to more people trying to keep up with the draft and setting proxies via smartphones and other wireless touch devices, where things are not as operationally precise and mistakes more easily made.

I don't see that its affected my draft. My big problem was trying to set proxies just as it was my turn to pick and I got players I wasn't really aiming to get yet. But as Meat noted, I should've shut off my proxies at the time, and i still got some decent players.

I've been having a miserable time with proxies. I was in the woods all weekend and I've had proxies on--quadruple checked-- since Friday, loaded down with plenty of available players. They didn't work at all this weekend and, during the one time I could check in on a desktop it wouldn't let me click "draft" on anyone. Now this morning,my proxies weren't working again. I did successfully pick Escobar then, next round, I tried to draft a few different relievers (all under budget) and it wouldn't work. I tried my proxies on and off again on again. Then I just started clicking around randomly to no avail (like slamming the top of TV), until in frustration, I got to Manny Declarmen. Needless to say, Id like to drop him. I'm not sure if this is a site problem or something on my end or maybe some position limits issue that I'm not seeing.

All in all, I'm fine with what I've got, besides Declarmen.

So, the site is acting weird for me, too.

I KNOW Trever Miller was the first pick of my THIRD group, but somehow he's the one I got this morning even though no one from my first two groups was picked (and those proxies have all disappeared).

Very odd.

I would like to drop Miller (for the time being; if you want him, take him before round 24).

Ditto here; Batista was my THIRD group choice, and that salary he's got blows the rest of my draft plans. What the heck is going on???

I was able to drop him, approved Al's drop, and now we're all the way back to Matt. Could be a troublesome day as we try to finish this off.

UPDATE: I now notice all my proxies are GONE. This is what happened last time, when I lost my Ruiz and some other pick and got Anibel Sanchez and Stubbs the CF. Not pleased.

Thought it might have been me. I also have had a few quirksh incidents throughout this draft.

I am wondering if budgetary constraints contributed to anyone's draft and/or proxy problems. So, I put this calculation together to help.

Currently, in order to draft legal 25-player teams for under $80MM, this is the maximum any one team can spend on a player:

Matt, Tom and Mark are pretty much left with the dregs of the available pool the rest of the draft. Mark in particular can't spend any more then .6MM on any one player with 5 to pick. Yuk.

I have quite a bit of budget left because I made a mistake calculating my budget earlier in the draft. Needless to say, this will be one of my weakest strat teams in personal history.
