yea....I almost picked Weeks in Round 7 or 8. Got scared off by his fielding rating and it's probably as bad or worse (based on stats) for next year. But boy can he hit.

He won't be seeing the field for me, but might be a nice DH option at the top of the lineup.

I had a situation happen in another league and I wondered if anyone could explain it to me, please!

Daniel Hudson is pitching, top of the 5th, 0 out, nobody on. Up to that point he has given up 4 hits, 1 bb, 1 run. He is a S7 and his PCF is F9.

Dave Ross hits a double. HAL pulls Hudson for Darren O'Day. Hudson's PCF is still F9. O'Day is set as my setup pitcher, there are NO extra checkboxes set for him, nor for Hudson. Team relief usage is set to Normal.

Why would HAL do this? Fortunately I went on to win game (but Hudson didn't get credit). I just don't get it and wondering if anyone has a logical explanation.

How many pitches had he thrown?

I've noticed sometimes hal will make a preemptive move if your pirch count is creeping and depending on the next 2 or 3 hitters.

Don't know why he does this, but i've noticed it.

70 pitches. But he threw 114 the game before.

That seems wihtin reason. Not sure why HAL worked his magic.

BTW - Paul, just sent you a new list of proxies. Should get me through the next two rounds.
