Well I know it seems like much ado about nothing, but if I went ahead an made an executive decision either way (allow the pick or making shakey repick) then I am likely to upset one or more managers along the way. I know we all want to get this moving, but I've been in many many leagues were, if things are not done by the EXACT rules, it turns into an absolute fiasco with managers getting upset and then dropping out, etc.

I understood this rule exactly as Thisisdan26 laid it out and as he interpreted; thus I ruled any non-players out this season with an eye towards the supplemental, just as he said and as in place in other games. I would vote in principle No since the rule is clear and unambiguous. BUT, if the Commish himself would prefer to let it slide here, there seems little harm arguing the point.
