Whilst we wait to get this draft going, I thought ya'll might be interested in the following stat:

This is how teams rank, according to w/l%, from 1901 To 2011, in home Games that were decide by a score of 1-0 (minimum 100 of these games played)

1) Atlanta Braves : 157-78 .782
2) Los Angeles Angels: 78-40 .772
3) Houston Astros: 76-44 .731
4) San Francisco Giants: 121-71 .726
5) Cleveland Indians: 121-72 .721
6) Chicago Whitesox: 165-101 .713
7) Baltimore Orioles: 125-80 .694
8) New York Mets: 72-46 .694
9) Cincinnati Reds: 123-79 .692
10) Detroit Tigers: 101-67 .679

On the flip side the team with the best record playing on the road in 1-0 games is the St Louis Cardinals: 114-125 .458

I was hoping that I could get a little slack on the drafting times. I am currently working in Liverpool England, so I am 5 hours ahead. So if the draft time is 10am to 10pm EST it is going to be 3pm to 3am GMT and I am just not young enough to stay up until 3am to see if it is my turn to draft. If you could allow me to operate from 6am to 6pm I would appreciate it. If not then I will try and operate within the EST time frame.

I will however be back in the states by the time of the next draft.

Hi Dan, I understand your time concerns, however I don't think it appropriate to change times that would also impact everyone else.

If you'd care to send proxies to me, I'll make sure they're posted in a timely manner.

5) There is no clock for round 1 of the supplemental free agent draft. All subsequent rounds will operate with a 2-hour clock, as in the initial draft.

7) Only those players who played at least one MLB game during the season for which the draft is being conducted may be selected.
