Playoffs issue

Postby ggrover15 » Sat Jun 04, 2011 7:53 am

I just got in playoffs by winning my div. but with the third best record. One team with 106 wins the other with 95 wins I have 88 wins and the wildcard out of the 106 div team has 86 wins. Now I have to play the 106 win team. I like the rule that you do not play your div if it is the wildcard and if and only if the wildcard team has a better record then one of the div leaders. I real do not think I should have to play te 106 win team. Would love to hear some thoughts on this.....

Only means 1 thing. Good luck in the finals. More often than not the team with the BEST record rarely wins it all. Been in more than enough leagues to know.

Frank is right! I beat him in a Theme League where he had 102 wins and I had 92. Oh and he had beat me down like a old rug on the laundry wire in the regular season 11 out of 12 games  .

I'd say ggrover needs to be doing his best Gene Kelly impersonation.

Start dancing in the streets for your good fortune my man. Not enough of that sort of thing by the way. Although I did see a gal doing what looked to be some sort of individual "electric slide" on my walk the other day. I was about to join her when I noticed my left-ward shimmy was off. I never dance when I can't fully shimmy. I just go in right-ward circles. I get dizzy. The girl seemed able to shimmy both ways just fine.

Also of note is the current p/o structure is exactly like MLB.
