The Bud Selig KL announced the formation of its newest team, the Colorado Cookie Monsters. Team owner Blackjack the 57th (who made his fortune operating a chain of cookie addiction cure centers) named the legendary Cookie Monster himself as General Manager. C. Monster denied reports he was trying to import Cookie Rojas and Bake McBride from an ATG league. He did say the Cookie Monsters might try to trade for Coco Crisp, saying "we're not sure if that guy is a cookie, a cereal, or a rice krispie treat gone bad but we will do our due dilligence and find out if he fits on our team".

The Monsters will play in Commerce City, CO a suburb of Denver heretofore known primarily for air pollution. However the team's stadium, AT & T Park, (how did Keebler miss out on this sponsorship opportunity?) is located on the northeastern edge of Commerce City, which Blackjack says is "really a nice place to live and a long way from the polluting refineries". Blackjack also stated that to promote a "family atmosphere" milk and cookies would be the primary concessions instead of beer and hot dogs.

Not sure if there is or not, but if there was would it not end at 10pm EST anyways?

Also Shakey must have been delayed as he still has not entered his team? Oh well no big rush. 8-)

good call...It's only 7pm where I'm at and thus I forget about that. So the commish is off the hook til tomorrow am. saw him in the users browsing list a couple times, but guess he missed that he was up.

can't believe my chant didn't work this time......

still lots of hrs left today if he picks, pretty sure we'll be able to get 5 or 6 more after that.
