How many active teams do you usually run at the same time?

How many active teams do you usually run at the same time? I tend to have about 2-3 teams going.

I have six going right now. One of them is about to get bounced from the playoffs.

I never have more than one. I just enjoy managing too much so I dedicate my time to just one.

I think managing three teams simultaneously is about the most that I can handle. I've done that once or twice. When I did it, I started the seasons every two weeks. That way if you end up with a cellar dweller, you'll usually have at least one team in the hunt to keep you interested.

I have had as many as a half dozen or more going at once, but lately I have been spending more money on baseball cards and less money on Strat-O-Matic. I agree with the above poster that it can be nice to have a couple of teams going at once, in case one of them is a cellar dweller. Despite having the best run differential in a league that finished last night I missed the playoffs by a game. This seems to be happening a lot to me lately.
