The unbearable lightness of trading...

I think if Bernie creates a list to toggle like the one we use to tell hitters to steal or not to or bunt...you get the idea...

On the toggle you could have "don't trade with" box....and toggle it on or off...and you will never be bothered again

From an ATG5 league in which I had played with every manager before more than once:

Sent: Wed, 02/03 07:41:05pm
Status: declined
Subject: TRADE OFFER: trade

You give up:
Maddux, Greg (1995) ($11,500,000)
Busby, Jim (1955) ($690,000)
O'Neil, Mickey (1924) ($610,000)
Sisler, George (1920) ($10,070,000)

Other team gives up:
Bailey, Bob (1978) ($500,000)
Bush, Donie (1909) ($5,300,000)
Campanella, Roy (1953) ($7,600,000)
Phillippe, Deacon (1900) ($8,830,000)

I had Mickey Cochrane and Ozzie Smith on my roster and a smallball park.

This is my personal favorite, from way back in ATGIII in a 200M league. I had 3 strong OFs already and 4 very good SPs, with no usable SPs left in waivers.

Subject: TRADE OFFER: trade....

You give up:
Camnitz, Howie ($11,160,000)

Other team gives up:
Post, Wally ($6,430,000)
Bell, Gus ($5,190,000)

Thanks Eric, I feel much better.

My thoughts on the Kirby for Joe D. trade?

I just got a recent one, Mike Schmidt and Ken Griffey Jr in a trade for Mickey Mantle. I kept Mantle but it made me think. I also have G Brett at 3b.
