'69 DD Live Draft Done...and Away We Go!!!!

Can somebody post how Diamond dope site will work and adress the time limit vote?Will we have 3 hr time limit where if deadline missed the next guy can pick and then another 3 hours will pass before next person can pick?That will encourage speed but limit the penalty for missing a pick so in an emergency small damage is done. Does the site use proxies?

Yes. It works exactly the same as the old somdraft.com

I'm in the same boat as Dan, won't be able to start until the 19th. You can bump me first if someone else can start earlier.

Fellas- I would like to participate, if you are willing to wait until the 19th, as I am the one that talked Adrian into building out the '69 draft functionality in DD and I have felt bad since that we never used it. I'd like to be part of the first DD draft there. Plus RJ and I each donated money to DD for this effort, so I have some skin in the game too.

But, if you can't wait, so be it. It should be extra incentive that my teams have been cannon fodder for many of you as of late.

I am supposed to have some internet access during vacation, but cannot support an active draft.

I am willing to wait for both managers to come back from their vacation(s). Family life is much more important than Strat life.... When the league fills I can still run the randomizer and set the draft order and set it up on Diamond Dope. Plus...if you have never used DD you need to sign into it using your TSN name so I can place you into the draft. And...if there are managers ahead of the two on vacation they can still make their first round pick(s).

I can also wait because I feel that we have a good bunch of guys here and the DD Draft experience will be awesome...especially being the first of the 1969 variety.... :D

I could take the last spot for you, but I get home from vacation the night of the 19th. I couldn't start until the morning of the 20th. Is one more day wait too much?

Please...for the 7 managers NOT having a time issue...could you either chime in here or PM me regarding the 3 managers who would be out of town. The way it looks right now...the latest we would start drafting would be the 21st.

I'm ok with it as long as the remaining 7 agree to wait....

We would have time to set up the draft (me) on DD and make sure everyone has signed in, get a randomizer run, and for us to start planning our draft strategy since we will be drafting our ENTIRE team AND ballpark(s).

So...please let me know either here or PM me....
