Don't think autodraft will work, teams will wind up with non 4 rating players and 4.00 ERA pitchers.

99.9% of all SOM managers are honorable and would auto draft their teams according to the guidelines. I played in the Coors Unleashed league where you could take no pitcher over 2 mil. We had no problem with any manager or autodraft. You must draft and play all fielders at the 4+ rating even if they have a lower rating at another position. They must have a 4 rating somewhere and you play them there. The DH should be a 4 rating as well because of injury. However there are players with just a DH rating. Only pitchers over a 4.00 + ERA could be drafted, pretty simple. All teams must follow the guidelines with their rosters for the season. I really feel we have a good group of honorable managers in SOM that would follow the guidelines.

Oh I hear you but when two teams have the same player om their draft card SOM will give one (or more) teams a similar type player which could easily not be a 4 d rating or 4+ era what then?

True - problem could be solved by going to $200mil. This would allow multiple player moves. Yes, your scenario will happen. If a manager ends up with a player that doesn't meet the guidelines they would need to replace them during waivers or before season starts. We are drafting the reject players so there should be plenty available for a 12 team league. Thanks

Gonna be tough to fill this with so many limitations although I love the hitting theme! Maybe we allow one exception for pitching.....one RP under 4.00 ERA or something similar? I'm probably gonna bail if nobody signs up today and start a franchise theme league.
