Stadium from 2 drafted franchises, or any player drafted in 4 round draft. First to draft a Phillie only team can select Citizens Bank Park.

Each owner selects a state upon signup for pick lottery to determine draft order. Each owner selects 2 MLB Franchises in a two round draft on SOM online. The one exception is the Phillies, nobody can draft them as a franchise. Next there will be a 4 round live serpentine individual player draft. How to determine draft order for the individual players is TBD, either by total salary of the each owner's 2 franchises or by actual MLB W-L record for 2010 are two ideas. The players can be from the Phillies or any other undrafted MLB franchise. Here is the kicker, each owner MUST draft at least one player from the Philadelphia Phillies in honor of my favorite team!
Each owner must always have a Philadelphia Phillie on their roster at all times throughout the season. Any individual players/ franchise players you draft but do not have on your roster belong to you and cannot be picked up a free agents by other owners, although they can be traded. All undrafted players from unowned franchises are free agents and can be picked up, dropped, traded at any times. No owners retain the rights to these players as they were undrafted.
To preserve the theme, each owner must always have at least 9 players on their roster from the two franchises they drafted.
The Commish will post a list of FA Players after drafting is completed and will copy it to the league message board so we all know who is available as free agents.

Wow, Alot of crickets out there........seriously, what can I do to make this fill up? I thought franchise leagues were easy to fill? Should I make it that in round 1 you must pick from one pool of players and in round 2 a lesser tier or a two team region......like I create groups of teams by geography/talent so to even it out? Example, Northeast region could be Atlanta, Phila, Boston, Pittsburgh, Mets, Yankees, Baltimore, Wash so if you draft one of these teams, your second must come from within the region but they would be tiered. Northeast Region 1: Yankees, Boston, Phila, Atl 2: Pitt, Bal, Wash, Mets. So the idea is in rd. 1 if you pick a tier 1 team you can only get a tier 2 team in rd. 2.

instead of a 5 round draft we make it three (1 has to be a phillie) & you have to keep at least 20 players from your two drafted teams on your roster (which cannot be the phillies) & the stadium HAS to be from one of your two drafted teams???

Okay, I'll do the 3 round draft but because I want to encourage trading lets keep it to 9 original players from your two franchises and 1 Phillie at all times. So in theory you could trade a Phillie away if you get one in return or pickup one as a F.A. Same with you franchise playesr, you can trade them away, but you always mus have enought to pickup to keep 9 on your roster.
