riddle me this

in the second inning of my second game of atg this is what happened

pena 4-5 so
johnson 2-7 single
guidry sac
mcgee 1-7 double 2-h b-2
wagner 5-7 single gb2b x

how is that a single when my 2b is alomar a 1?
i certainly wouldnt be holding mcgee on second base in the 2nd with
2 out.
i didnt think any ones could get a hit off the chart
thats why i draft a one===just curious if this happens a lot or
should happen at all.

McGee is speedy, so I wouldn't put it past HAL's ineptness to hold him on.
My only two theories are this:

1. "Rare Play" occurred (without the charts, I don't recall if there was a hit on the rare play for 2B)

2. The pitcher was fatigued and the 2b-x converted to a "single".
