It looks like the network administrators resolved the issue and SOM Online is back up. Our apologies to those inconvenienced by this.

I especially apologize for not being able to communicate with you until much later after we first started experiencing the problem. The message on the error page was not only a few months old, but it was linking to the forums, which were also unavailable at the time, and the network issue was preventing me from updating any of it. I'm going to change the default message on the error page to direct you to our offsite wiki (http://somonline.wikia.com) so that in case something like this happens again, you'll know where to go to find updates from me.

SportingNews.com is experiencing a network problem across much of its site, rendering the forums and Strat-O-Matic Online inaccessible through most of this afternoon and for the time being.

The network administrators are working hard to resolve the issue; hopefully we'll see the site come back up before too long.

I apologize if you were seeing a confusing, stale update on our site; the network problems prevented me from making any changes to that message (or making this post) until now.

Thanks for the update, Bernie.

Seems like the site being down is an annual event, which, while a minor irritant, isn't bad compared to most sites. Obviously, there couldn't be a worse time for this given the push for new online Strato customers.

TSN seems unable to get out of its own way concerning online Strato. - Bernie W

Site isn't completely up. An auto draft league hasn't got off the ground that should have.

league is full but the draft hasn't run...it's supposed to 10 minutes after it fills between the hours of 9am-12am.
