LA-Z-BOY XXXVII CHAT THREAD and RULES

David, you are doing fine and really don't owe anyone an explanation. If anyone else wanted to run this league, they should have stepped up to the plate. But since nobody did....... :?

There is no problem with you or anything you did, so don't worry about it. Keep up the good work.

Thanks Bill! Always nice to have a support group!
I PM'ed minnie with the update as he said he had not been on much lately. I'm hoping everyone has gotten the message about the change in the draft status for tomorrow. Since there has been some motions to kick things up a notch, be aware that if the time limit expires, I believe you have to put your pick in manually in order to skip someone. I've never done that so I'm not positive how it works. Good luck everyone! :D

You're doing fine Dave, like I've always said we have a group of managers with varied work schedules, and family commitments causing ebbs and flows during the draft. I've set a whole list of proxies because of the limited ATG time I have available, so if I don't check for a day I'm set, but some managers just plain want to make their picks live....it's what LA-Z-BOY has always been...why do you think it's called LA-Z-BOY, some drafts are faster than others, If everyone can at least set a proxy or five  we should get a round + a day, about average for LA-Z-BOY.

The new season will come and the long winter draft will be forgotten...oh wait it's June.  I guess I should say off season.

[size=18:3b6ef95afd]OK now let's go out and burn up the draft board.[/size:3b6ef95afd] :D

Thats the key word...LAZY! Having said that, it's been awhile since I've done a draft on DD. I was under the assumption you could set the draft time values at whatever you wanted, but 4 hour picks are not an option. You can do 3 or 6 hour picks, but not 4 or 5! Rather than risk burning somebody who didn't get the update, [b:0e66bc15b3]I'm setting the clock at 6 hours per pick. [/b:0e66bc15b3]I will change it again if it appears we are hurting for time to get the slow portion of the draft out of the way. Again, I encourage the use of proxies when you can! Thanks fellas! :)

David,

Thanks for stpping up and running this draft. I noticed that the six hour clock started in the middle of the night. Most drafts at the dope turn off the clock after midnight until 8 am. You might consider making that change so that someones pick doesnt expire at 5 am or something like that.

My two cents

Get that puter fixed. I have a few extras in the house. I will ship ya one. Just for the draft. I can live with a six hour clock.

Daughters wedding was fantastic. God pushed the rain clouds somewhere else and probably messed up someone elses wedding. Wedding was inexpensive, yet elegant, thanks to the work of a ton of people. We rented a Horse Farm in Winfield, Illinois. It looked like a Kentucky horse farm, manicured, flowers, white fences, for $800 which included a tent and pavilion for dinner. No mospuitos either.

I turned the clock on just before I left for work this morning at 6:00 am. Joe? Anybody? Is there a way to turn the clock on and off at specific times? The clock should be turned off in the evenings but what time is the usual time to do that? Jon, thanks buddy! Appreciate the kudos! The stadium draft is round 9 which people will pick on this chat thread according to LA-Z-Boy rules. Coach...sounds like a good time was had by all! Glad it went well. For those that would like to know what coach got for the bride and groom...check out this video! Classy coach!
