How does the clutch rating work?
Whats better positive or negative numbers?

Positive numbers are better.

If you go to the very end, you will see a $ sign for clutch with an explanation.

Also, the clutch rating of a player here has absolutely no relationship (except perhaps occasionally coincidental) to a player's "real" ability in the clutch. It's a rating that has been statistically added to balance the full teams relative to RBI's (as it has been explained here).

Has anybody done a study on where the best in the batting order to bat somebody with lots of $(out) slots on his card?
