Do have to much pitching for Petco?

New team starting today. I always like to ask the "experts" for their thoughts and suggestions. Here is a link to my team still in final formation...Have I spent too much on pitching and not enough on hitting?

I could pick up a hitter like Choo who is still available if I change some things around..any thoughts are welcome.

this looks like a pretty dang good team.

wagner/rivera might be a bit of overkill so ya might want to dispose of one and shore up 2b or get more pop in rf

You pay extra for the C5 or C6, so as Tony mentioned, you definitely don't need 5 of them. Choo has 8 BP HR's versus RHP which is wasted a bit in Petco. However, depending on the other parks in your division, he could still be a good option. Definitely downgrade a few of the RPs.

The other parks in the division are (Miller Park (2 teams)) and Yankee Stadium

I don't see as much OBP as I would like for PETCO. I always try to get one really good power hitter and you do have him but he slants heavy to the left. My guess that with Miller Park you will see LHSP with those 2 teams. You might have some trouble with the Yankee team. I was told sometime back that if you can beat 2 of the 3 teams in your division you should be OK.

Dale, if I may there's one HUGE thing you can do to improve your performances. I've mentioned this to you before: DO NOT DUMP PLAYERS. Every league I've been in with you it's a revolving door of players dropped and added. Your USA Americans team was an excellent team, well over .500 challenging for the Division lead and there you went off dropping players one day after the next. Now, you're mired in a long losing streak and are firmly entrenched in last place.

You have the desire to be better, I can tell. You will improve your game exponentially if you stop all the salary dumping and keep your teams intact.

He's done it with this team, too. He now has a salary cap of $64.22 which puts him at a huge disadvantage for the remaining 93 games. It seemed like a pretty decent team to me to start with.

I can understand it if the appeal for Dale K is reconfiguring his team in season. I can see how that might be enjoyable. But I don't understand why he doesn't alert the league that he's available for trades. I'd think that trading would be even more appealing.

Dropping players is usually a guarantee you are not going to make the playoffs. My championship/playoff teams usually involved no roster moves or just a trade or two once the season started. Gutting your team is suicide.
