[b:15c49bac2e]Reagarding the stealing[/b:15c49bac2e], this is a good illustration of my post a few weeks ago as far as using the more conservative settings for base running and stealing. I used "very conservative" for stealing with just Daniels, who attempted only 8 SB's, being set to "steal more". Despite lacking a big SB total, I still finished 4th in offense, which I think is pretty good for the Astrodome. I also managed to be successful on 85%(the best) of my 67 steal attempts in a league where only one other team barely did better than 80% and the rest of the teams were under 75%. With ten teams having a steal success rate under 75%(six under 70%), my contention is a good number of teams in this league are hurting their offense by being too aggressive in their steal settings and if the corresponding base running settings are as aggressive as their steal setting counterparts, they will also be hurting themselves on the base paths even more than is evident with their steal %'s because they are probably also running into too many outs on the bases.
