NEW 24 team ATGv6 Franchise League - full East to load

Here is the chance to try the new 24 team playoff format. I had to take a few liberties with the team composition, but most of the groupings are pure franchises.

Sign up for one of the available teams below. At all times your roster must be comprised exclusively of players from your selected team grouping. (Only exception to this rule is the NEL team, explained below)

Since there are many players eligible for multiple rosters, we will use waivers and let HAL resolve the conflicts. You will need to make some tactical decisions with your draft list.

You must also [u:199b5ab96e][b:199b5ab96e]only use player card versions [/b:199b5ab96e][/u:199b5ab96e]associated to your team grouping.

If the Indians select and get Tris Speaker, they must use his 1920 card from the Indians $10.26M. They cannot use the Speaker card from the Red Sox - 1912 at $13.41M.

This league is not a league where a player is eligible for a roster because he played for a franchise in real life. Mike Piazza can only play of the NL West exp team since he only has cards with LAD exp. Piazza is [b:199b5ab96e]not [/b:199b5ab96e]eligible for the Mets roster, even though he did play for the Mets in real life.

You can do as many add/drops with players from your selected team grouping as you wish.

* For the Negro League team, the manager may select up to 7 free agents. All free agents must be $4M or less. The reason for this exception is that the existing NEL roster is very short on low priced back up-scrub players and does not support the "pure" reliever roster requirement. The free agents can be put on the draft card for the auto draft. No more than 7 free agents can be on the roster for this team at any time.

** Some leagues have counted players like Koufax 1965 as part of the Los Angeles Dodgers expansion franchise since in 1965, the Dodgers were in LA not New York. For the purposes of this league, and to keep things a bit cleaner, we will use the Strat-o-matic selection menu to determine the propoer categorization for a player. Since Koufax is grouped with the BKN - Post team, for the purposes of this league he is only eligible for the BKN Dodgers team grouping.

*** After the auto draft runs, you might get some players that HAL selects for you that are not eligible for your roster. These would be replacements for players you put on your auto draft card, but did not get. These players must be promptly dropped during the waivers period.

was looking into it. your team in the West called "South" with Fla Exp, AZ EXp, Hou exp, stb db.

BUT... Florida Expansion only has 1 player, AZ Exp only has 2 players, so it's really just Hou EXp and stb db. The stb db team is very limited (Sisler and a bunch of avg guys). You may want to re-think this team....unless you get a big Astros fan to jump in.

don't see many teams in that division hanging with the NEL (plus 7) team.
