I'd like to do a 24-team league as part of the tournament, but not if it means sacrificing the live draft.

Would there be any problem with keeping Event #4 as the live draft, but switching Event #5 to a 24-team event? This would allow people to get a little extra time to familiarize themselves with 24-team leagues. Also, since Event #5 is scheduled an $80M event, we would have to dig deeper into the player pool than we otherwise would, which would make up for the absence of a $60M event.

Will there be any increase in the bonus points for winning a 24-team league as compared to a regular league?

I'd like to jump in by saying that there was a lot more opposition to the idea than I expected. Although the VOTE if I were to tabulate it MAY be swinging more in FAVOR of the 24-team event - the number of negative responses and the comments with them is more than I wanted to see.

I will present the board with a couple of ideas and see if we can come to any agreement.

I'd say right now, I doubt that anything will get changed for Event #4. If there was only 1, maybe 2 in opposition, I'd feel better about making the change, but that's not what we got.

I wouldnt mind trying the 24 team league, but I really do like the live draft... so I think the idea of changing the 5th or 6th league to 24 works better, at least to my mind.

Having said that, I will go along with the majority!

Wouldn't mind the 24-team league as long as it isn't a live draft.

Yes to the 24 team league...even as Event #4...but NO live draft...$100M would still be fine or even $80M cap...let's get really testy! :twisted:

I would play in a 24 team league; more importantly though,
I would like to see the Semi Finals changed to the 24 team league.

I would vote yes to a 24 teamer - I can get my 78-83 wins in any format.
