Diamond Dope has the lesser $ Klein with the supperior card in the hitting departments.
Obviously the higher $ Klein had the better year.

Puzzled on this one.

The cheaper one was [b:76f1bb4cfe]higher priced[/b:76f1bb4cfe] in ATG5.

The 1930 Major League season was an offensuve abberation, especially in the NL and ESPECIALLY in Shibe PArk.
[b:76f1bb4cfe]NINE [/b:76f1bb4cfe]National League [b:76f1bb4cfe]TEAMS [/b:76f1bb4cfe]batted over .300. The Phillies pitching staff had an ERA of [b:76f1bb4cfe]6.71[/b:76f1bb4cfe], the ERA for the whole NAtional League was 4.97. Hack Wilson hit 56 homers with his wild 190 RBI. Bill Terry batted .401. The Phillies batted .315 as a team, but couldnt overcome their pitching staff.

So, Klein's eye-popping numbers arent quite as eye-popping in context of the season and the park he played in. The more $$ one does hit for a little more power than the cheaper one, while the cheaper one will have a higher BA and OBP and positive clutch. Though it is an oversimplification, its kinda similar to the two Babe's. One will give you more Power (in Chuck's case HR [b:76f1bb4cfe]and [/b:76f1bb4cfe]doubles), the other will give you more of everything else.

Not too long ago, historians discovered that Hack had been denied an RBI mistakenly credited to Kiki Cuyler. So his record-setting 1930 RBI total offically was changed to 191.

The more expensive version also has a -3 in RF (with 8 more errors), as opposed to the limp noodle the cheap Klein is carrying around.
