I'm guessing the manager who sent this wants to get a TOP player for 2 guys who don't perform well in a 200 or Live league, and since the 'salaries' match...
Of course, he could have just 'politely declined', but as I have postualted, what if N wasn't an experienced manager who said yes to this deal?
I've seen that happen quite frequently- how bout if you were in the same division with the guy who just picked up Mays on the cheap, and you are already struggling to compete with his team?
