Not sure how many of you are able to get Ranger games. But after many of the games are over they have a segment called "Boys In The Hall" where they interview various HOFers. Figure many here would enjoy it.

saw one the other nite on whitey ford. damn good. lots of insite into the mantle era yanks. lots of bs the press wrote that people still believe that wasn't true

Saw a few episodes the other day. They had a great show with Buck Leonard.
He was talking about Satchel, Cool Papa Bel and Jackie Robinson. Very funny. I think the other ones were Frank Robinson, Harman Killebrew (missed that one) and Warren Spahn.

Watched one on Robin Roberts. Toward end of his career he talked with Cincinnati about pitching for them. The manager said yes to 10 game tryout but owner said no because Roberts was asking for $30K and owner would not go higher than $15K.

Modern teams would be tripping over themselves for opportunity to sign a future HOFer for $30K. Yankees might give him $30 MIL. :lol:
