I have created the league - this hurt my head ! :shock:

Wild theme - should be lots of fun. Rule 5 is particularly great, but two questions:
1. Can you actually hold your own palm in your hand (As in Spoony Palm)?
2. If I call my "Johnson" Oscar, does that work? It has quite often been held in one hand.

Can we just eliminate all Hispanic names, for those of us who don't have a clue about Spanish?

I don't want to have to figure out if "Alomar" is Spanish for some sort of bird or something.

Dacelo, too funny. And, no to both. I don't consider your palm an "item" you can hold. I don't even want to touch the other example. (Pun intended). And, English is the only language that matters, for the purposes of this theme. :) Steve, thanks for creating the league.

Guys... It is going to take me a long time to get a team ready.... not
because of travel or busy, but rather due to the extensive stipulations of
the rosters.

I can only look at the computer for about 20-30 minutes at a time without
getting a migraine headache and unfortunately there is so much to
research that it is going to take me days to even begin to get it right.

If anyone has put together some of the info for these stips and would like to share the lists of players I would appreciate it... otherwise I seriously doubt that I will be ready to go for a week or more.

also... does the name have to be exact?

for instance... is Blackwell the ame as Black, Blu the same as Blue, Tannehill the same as Tan?

At least with colors, if it has to be exact, I don't see where there is enough of these guys.

Yes, the color must be exact. And, there are plenty of last names as colors. Remember, there will only be 12 color names in the league, as every team can only have one. I counted 35 possibilities; 17 Browns alone.

5/10/20 add/drop penalty
4 round draft on the ILC boards. Autodraft the rest with waivers.
Players drafted cannot be swaped out, dropped or traded.
Divisions will be randomly assigned after the draft.

Now for the twists. The theme is screw your neighbor. In round 1 - Team
1 will pick a unique stadium and player for team 12, then 2 will make the
same picks for team 11, etc. No rule for which stadium but 1 hitter must
be valued at $10 million plus and the other hitter must be valued at $9
million plus. Also, one pitcher must be valued at $9 million plus and the
other pitcher must be valued at $8 million plus. (it does not matter which
round each hitter and pitcher is selected.

In round 2 team 12 picks a another player for team 1, team 11 picks a
player for team 2, etc.

To keep things balanced team 12 for pick for team 1 in round 3 also.

I presume 12-1 at the top is misprint, and 1 picks for 12 in the middle rounds.
