Does anyone play the 1999 season anymore?

I posted about a league last week and only had a few people express interest, and no one actually joining yet.

I'm just curious if people don't like the season specifically, or if all non-current leagues are experiencing problems, and people are short on cash/credits.

What do people think?

I only play about 3 or 4 teams at a time. I played 1999 last year, and enjoyed it. I did the PC leagues last year, and that ate up a lot of my teams.

This year I took a break for awhile over the summer. I skipped the PC's this year. But I am back in playing.

Over the past year, I have played:
-2009/10
-ATG
-90's - lots of these
-1999

I think that my favourites of these are 200X and the 90's game. I like the mystery card format - it makes it a little more like a real life manager situation, where you don't really know how a player is going to perform - there are a range of possible results. I like 200X because I like to use the current player cards, and work out strategies for teams. 1999 is OK, but is more of a curiosity game to me. 90's and 200X are my favorites.

A 1999 league got started three weeks ago. I know because I'm in it. I like it so far.

If your league stays open for a few more weeks then sure. Right now I have six ongoing teams with one in hibernation (2002) and a Keeper on the way.

We'll see.
