Okay, so Bonds hits his 100th home run in game 143. Then four games in a row - at home --and nothing. No homers, three lousy rbi's.

So it's either normalization is kicking in or Backfire was right, the game is rigged.

Further proof. This team was over .700 until they went 7-10 from game 122 to 139. Then they got back on track, until they lost two out of three tonight.

I am not sure of the definition of "normalization" as it pertains to the game or individual players of the game, but if for example Bonds has hit an unknown plateau and the game engine decides to put on his brakes wouldn't the only way to achieve this be through a predetermined or fixed die roll? Or is there another process that I am not aware of?

On a lighter note here is a team of mine that has 96 wins with 15 games to go....dropped two games tonight at home to a team I am 33 games ahead of and I was 53-19 at home before dropping these two. Let's see if this team tanks......

I've often wondered...is normalization a one-way street? Does it only affect the top echelon guys having more-than-career years? Or do the bottom rung players suddenly start producing as if they were on PEDs?
