Being forced to work with some cards we normally never look at will give you some performances you may not have expected, and give you some new insight into Strat team creation in general
For instance, I like to use Freddie Lindstrom in a small-ball park. I like him in the 5 or 6 spot as a good RBI man. In the 1888-1925, I found Red Smith, a 3.25m 3b who is a great run producer in the 5 6 7 spots of a lineup. So, if i'm playing in a low cap, or if Lindstrom is gone and I want to splurge somewhere else, I may call old Red into action..............
If i remember right Red is a nice inexpensive doubles machine.
