And I suspect that we're through for the night. Not bad; we made it through three rounds today.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I'm headed to Martha's Vinyard in the AM for a week. My internet access will be limited. I will try to set proxies accordingly to keep up and not slow us down. I would appreciate any extra patience during my selection period. Obviously if I'm well over my allotted time I will understand on moving the draft forward.

Thanks

reminder, we could be in a holding pattern for a while, not sure when and if Merkle can check in, as proxies have clearly run out...[/quote:f2c01eaaaa]

At what point should we consider moving forward? I don't mind being patient, but we could probably get through almost two full rounds with Merkel missing only the one selection... moving past his spot at this point could guarantee at least [i:f2c01eaaaa]some [/i:f2c01eaaaa]progress today and shouldn't hurt his team [i:f2c01eaaaa]too [/i:f2c01eaaaa]much. Then when Merkel does check in and make his selection (the one skipped, the one in round 16, and I assume a proxy in round 17), we can be that much farther ahead. In other words, if we skip Merkel now, than when he checks in he can basically make 3 picks and get us through to another two solid rounds (17 and 18) where his presence won't be necessary.

Does that make sense? I'm getting lunch.

durantjerry skipped, we take the turn into rd 16 with those kind enough to PROXY, and back to jerry, for hopefully NOT another three hour wait...

remember, you must have AT LEAST 8-million in the bank at all times. since you'll still have two players to autodraft after the 24 round draft (keep in mind, 24 rounds, not the 25 listed) that means you can spend at most 71 million in live draft, saving enough for two half a million dollar players, at minimum.

Ugh. Shoulda grabbed Posada on the last go round. Backup catcher to my fragile starter is now a total wasteland.

Well, my division is pretty well stacked against me... I put together a singles hitting, no power team in a singles hitting, no power ballpark and the other three ballparks in my division are launching pads that inhibit singles. Hooray. :(
