[b:f8df5aa874]Turtle[/b:f8df5aa874]- when you get a chance you might want to change the subject line in the first post, it still reads "Smokey is Up"[/quote]

it will be right again soon.

Thanks superfly

DT, go ahead and take your 2nd rd pick when ready, the clock will stay off until Turtle turns it on, so no worries about catching people unaware.

thanks again, blackjack. I've had awful luck this week. First I work 70 hours and then my CPU dies and the iPad won't let me post???? On the wife's laptop now. I will turn on the clock ASAP. Now that everyone has had a pick, we should start to REALLY move. Anything less than a round a day will be considered slow.

I had a lot more time when I put this league out in July. BTW , I'm a sportswriter, so the first week of football season was not a great one to start this league on. But, thank goodness I picked an awesome vice commish.

Turtle

I need to ask a few draft questions.

How long are we drafting tonight on the clock?

I'm assuming we can still draft after the clock is turned off for the night...correct?

When exactly will the clock be turned on in the morning?

Can we make picks if the guy before us goes over the 30 minutes? And how do we do that?

Derfs-until Turtle gets back, here is what I can answer:

1. How long are we drafting on clock tonight? Not sure, I think until midnight but that could be wrong.

2. You can still draft after the clock is off.

3. Not sure about time in the AM.

4. If person before you is over the limit you pick the same way you nromally do, the players will have "draft" instead of proxy next to their name, and it will say you are up.

Our time starts when the 30 minutes expires on the previous picker so we can't afford to wait on them, can we? Lest we miss our own pick as well, correct?

In case Turtle doesn't come back in time. What's the very earliest the clock will be turned on in the morning? I need a time.

Correct, go ahead and pick- if someone gets skipped then they can jump in anytime to take their skipped pick. If you want to be nice you can wait 25 minutes to give them a chance but that's not really expected. Make sure you turn proxy's on/off as needed.

I think the time for the next pick in the AM will be displayed underneath the "search players" box after the clock is off tonight. [b:a0e505e534]If[/b:a0e505e534] Turtle does not come back tonight/early tomorrow I will turn clock back on around 9 AM EST- I'll be at work so it could be a few minutes after 9 if I'm busy but I'll shoot for that time. If Turtle comes back he may do something different. Sorry I can't give you a more definite answer.

The clock seems messed up

I copied the draft clock time info here. Look at Dope time and then look at next pick. I'm no math genius but isn't the next pick supposed to, by definition, be after and not before, Dope time?

Dope Time: 9/4/2011 19:41:53 CT
Last Pick: 9/4/2011 17:11:25 CT
Next Pick: 9/4/2011 17:41:25 CT
