Okay, we're full. Someone from the East has to create the league. Genegrid has sent most of us the password already.

Will be interesting how the have-nots do vs Yankees etc at 140m. I usually set up a Franchise League at 130m or 120m to make groupings more equitable. When you set up a Braves or Dodgers team, you are filling the last 20m with seldom-used relievers or bench players, while the Yankees are using that last 20m to add ANOTHER impact bat or arm.............
just like current MLB I guess

I agree. Looking at the Reds verus Yankees doesn't look promising on paper. This is my first time playing a franchise team, so I'm going to have fun regardless, but I was thinking even lower. A 100m league would be best.

My best of the best starting hitters (8 + DH), plus my best of the best starting pitchers (4*SP, 1 solid SP/RF, and 2 solid RF) cost around $100m. I found myself having to use my remaining 40m on players that won't be playing much. Another 20-30m on starting players is going to be hard to overcome.

Baseone on my limited experience, I think $100m should be the baseline, as it would forces everyone to pick and chose the players and the years of those players (both starters and subs) that best works for them.

Just my thoughts...

Andy, can you post some standings? I am curious how this league played out as the top franchises were grandfathered in prior to public release.
