Thanks ed1447-- I just picked Texiera way up there and I'm now trying to master the damn proxy business. I had no trouble last year using this site, but I am trying desperately to find entree into the process.

I get the ide of searching on players, but I don't see any proxy button.... I'll keep at it. and try to fill the list as long as it takes.


BINGO! I have to HOLD DOWN the DAMN "FInd by name" button in either Safari OR Firefox apparently....

I now see that my trouble was as simple as "BEING BEHIND IN THE DAMN DRAFT ALL THAT SHOWED UP NEXT TO ANYONE'S NAME WAS "PICK" Now I get PROXY... :oops: :oops: :oops: :oops: :shock: Egac, what a dummy....

OK, went back and looked at this rule. Since I didn't write it (just pasted it from our other league), I was not sure myself.

But, according to the rule, Trout and Harper are available. Gerrit Cole is not. It is all dependent on before the MLB season, not our season. And we stick with the rule. So, the newly drafted guys will be eligible in our next prospect draft. Trout and Harper are now.[/quote:8ebe5ce8f1]


I am surely no english major... and i have no desire to read the sentence anymore. but is that really what it says? I had no idea my reading comprehension was so diminished... it just does not read that way to me.

Very interesting ed1447! My top man on my just built proxy list was Buchholtz. I had my list OFF, but when I added Thome to the bottom of my list, bang... he went on the drafted player list. :shock:

It may still take me a little time to get the hang of this. Now I understand what Blackjack was warning me of!
