ATG new card teasers (new for Wed. 9/14)

Hey guys!

On [b:43b2a32911]Thursday, September 15[/b:43b2a32911], we'll be adding around [b:43b2a32911]20 new cards[/b:43b2a32911] (give or take) to All-Time Greats VI, and then again [i:43b2a32911]once every month thereafter[/i:43b2a32911].

They'll be made available immediately to all [i:43b2a32911]new[/i:43b2a32911] leagues; I won't be adding them to the free agent pools of existing leagues as a general rule, but that issue may be explored later.

Here's some kick-off teasers for the first batch!

The guy I pre-teased as "One of the All-Time Best - like you've never seen him before" is indeed:

Good call LoopsandRolls! Obviously not one of the all-time best [i:43b2a32911]pitchers[/i:43b2a32911], so it may end up being just a big-name novelty, but as a popularly-requested attraction, this was at the top of the list. It should be intuitive, but in case it's not clear: if you own a Babe Ruth hitter card, you don't get this pitcher card automatically, and if you own this pitcher card, he'll hit like a generic 8NL pitcher.

We're finally adding the 5 "double-duty" cards that have been missing from the Negro-League All Stars within ATG VI - the hitter cards of 3 guys we already have as pitchers, and the pitcher cards of 2 guys we already have as hitters. I know you guys haven't really missed 'em, but it's about time we completed the set.

Excellent, Bernie. Ruth looks like a good lefty SP; if you COULD use both his hitting and pitching cards together, what would he cost; $25m? :P And, Rogan looks very impressive as a hitter.

Since[b:aab6ca5875] Ruth has a pitching card[/b:aab6ca5875]...In a[b:aab6ca5875] live draft[/b:aab6ca5875] could you have [b:aab6ca5875]pitching Ruth [/b:aab6ca5875]on your roster....and then on the days he [b:aab6ca5875]does not pitch [/b:aab6ca5875]pickup [b:aab6ca5875]hitting Ruth[/b:aab6ca5875]?(until game 141)

I am sure it can be done...but I think a [b:aab6ca5875]gentlemen's agreement[/b:aab6ca5875] would be needed
