24 Team league, mix of stadiums with nothing special for pitching and Hatrnett for a full year hits [b:895f250ed6][i:895f250ed6][u:895f250ed6].198[/u:895f250ed6][/i:895f250ed6][/b:895f250ed6]

This is one crazy senseless game...Seriously it makes no sense. lmao.

BTW in another league I had Matt Nokes (.268) hit for a higher batting average than the 13m Foxx (.266)....Total crap....I mean total crapshot.

My thought is that Hartnett should 'Never' (meaning maybe once in a Quantum Purple moon)
hit sub .200 in a 24 team 100 cap league in a power stadium in a full season.
Diluted pitching/defense with that many teams.

What are the statistical chances of that?

To quote an infamous politician, Nev, (aren't they all infamous?!) 'I feel your pain!"

That number is ridiculous. I once had Ricky Henderson in a league hitting .164 after 500 ABS until I just couldn't watch it any longer and replaced him with a scrub.

This game keeps us somewhere between humble and insane.

Bonds is hitting .235 though 72 games. He's THIRD on the team in slugging?!?!?

An obvious case of not knowing how to fill out a draft card and getting a poor catcher.

HAL remembers where you had him on your draft card, and if you had him too low, he gets even!

Similar probability occurrence...I think...

I just had a very poor season out of Hartnett as well...usually very stead and hits well for me...not this time.

Also just had a strange set of games last night:

My team has Gehringer, Murphy, Barry Bonds, Aaron, Ortiz, Pujols, Hartnett, Ripken and Schmidt as lineup

Facing Eddie Plank, Big Bill Foster and Satchel Paige

I started Tim Keefe, Roy Halladay and Three Finger

Playing in Cath. Prep Oval...18/16/19/18

My "powerhouse" managed 10 hits and 1 run...in all three games combined

Got swept 6-0, 3-1, 22-0

Obviously statistically possible...but would like to see the odds on that set of outcomes...ah well...
