New 1969 Theme League - Now Drafting

Our historical single season sets

I'd like to get through round 5 before instituting the clock. It will run on weekends but not overnight.

Keep in mind that Hall of Famers cannot be cut. You can trade a Hall of Famer, but the receiving team can't cut them either. This means the young Rollie Fingers and the old Drysdale must be on somebody's roster for the entire season.

Going to be out all day at the U of Michigan - Notre Dame game. I set up a couple of proxies.

Enjoy your game Gordie.
I"d love to watch a game at Michigan, Ohio State or Notre Dame one day, just to see what ti's like. Been to most of the SEC stadiums over my career, but haven't been to one up that day.
I'll be at the computer working most of the day, but it might not matter, if we don't get the logjam busted here and get to rolling with some picks.
Never done this live before. Looks like it might be about to get interesting.

Hopefully about 6 picks will fire after Franky goes!

My alma mater, USF, beat Notre Dame last week. Though I can only claim so much pride - they didn't even have the footbal team when I was there....

I'm hoping it gets back to me today. I'm really kind of liking these back-to-back picks. It's the 22-pick gap in between that can make you crazy.

sorry for holding up the draft today.....was at a funeral for immediate family all day. I set 2 sets of proxies before I left and one fired and the other didn't.....have no idea what happened. Just got back and made my pick.

again sorry for the delay.

Paul, no worries about the draft. Take care of your family.

There won't be any kind of clock until at least Wednesday.

Do you live in central FL? I live in Auburndale (near Lakeland).

Speaking of college football.....have you guys noticed some of the new uniforms some teams have been sporting this year? Those god awful Georgia spacemen uniforms they wore vs Boise was the worst college uniforms I have ever seen. I liked the throw back uniforms that both Michigan and ND wore yesterday. The clover leafs on the helmets are a nice improvement over the plain golden domes.

I have to say that the new Maryland uniforms were pretty bad too.[img:787b4be238]http://a.abcnews.go.com/images/WN/gty_maryland_football_uniform_jef_110906_wblog.jpg[/img:787b4be238]
