Ed, I sympathize. If I ignore the wife she understands (sort of). If I ignore my two dogs, they may poop on the carpet. I'm not sure where your kids fit into this cosmic order.

Kids also poop on the carpet when ignored, also will turn around and repay the favor (ignore you) when they grow up. Trying not to repeat the mistakes of my Father, as you can see by the number of posts I make I'm not doing a very good job (what's my daughter's name again?).

Apollo has until 11 EST to draft, do not skip him yet.

It's still a two-hour time limit

I meant to turn proxies on and forgot, but there is no reason I should have been skipped there...

I'd feel sorry for you if it wasn't for these two facts.

1. This draft has now been running for 11 1/2 days. That's 276 hours. You have been on the clock for 29 hours and 50 minutes, or over 10% of the time.

2. It's the 10th round. There's not a lot of difference in value among players any more.

Guys, just to let you know. When my turn comes up. I pick. I do not pass go, I go directly to my pick. I'm thinking about my team and what players I want/need. The last thing on my mind is what someone else did/didn't do/should have done but didn't/check the board. No. I go into pick mode. That's all that matters when I see "You are up".

But you weren't up, according to the rules. It's not a technicality. I understand rburgh's point, and the value among players really doesn't differ much here, so I don't want to make it a big deal. I would just like the rules to be more clearly defined. If the clock is running 24/7, I'm fine with that... I would just like to know.

And is it really necessary to calculate my "time on the clock"? I have been slow on a couple of picks, and I apologize for that... overall, I don't think I've been the one slowing this draft down.

Actually I was. Someone else skipped over you. And I've picked at that time in the morning before. Nothing was unusual as far as I could tell.

Ok then, not "you" but whoever picked first. From the way you were talking, I assumed (without looking at the draft order) that it had been you.

Anyway, I'm not upset about the pick. I'd just like some more clearly defined rules.
