Scorehouse, thanks for the info. I Googled the article and just read it. Excellent, but quite sad and tragic. I am going to post a thread about it for others who may want to read it. FWIW, I doubt Rburgh meant anything by his comment. We have all said things jokingly that could be construed as insensitive to someone. Suicide, obviously, is a tragic and terrible event, that leaves scars on people forever. Last Christmas Day, the son of a HS classmate killed himself in her home. I didn't know her well, but was shocked and saddened none the less. A girl I knew quite well in HS killed herself while in college. And, a guy I knew well, and played softball against for many years, lost both of his sons to suicide, two years apart, on the same day, in the same manner. I would watch him play after that, and wonder how he could ever smile again. Thank God suicide has never come any closer to me or my family. Whenever I hear anyone voice their intent, no matter how flippantly spoken, to commit suicide, I cringe inside. Again, thanks for the story info. I knew the broader strokes of his sad tale, but not the details.
