New 1969 Theme League - Now Drafting

Our historical single season sets

[quote:8c3f232eb7="franky35"]Kev,

I figured you planned to play Kaline at 1st vs lefties and Torre at C vs lefties and at 1st v righties. Torre is a 4(0)e1 T19 pb 5. Not good but certainly not terrible, especially considering he doesn't get injured. Hawk Taylor is rated 4(+2)e16 T20 pb 20. So, Torre is definitely an upgrade.

Anyway, you can try to trade Kaline (tough) or Aaron (easy), but you can't cut them. You are free to cut Torre at any time after the autodraft is run. Usually, there is only one manager that drafts Hawk Taylor. So, there's a good chance he'll be available.[/quote:8c3f232eb7]

I'm good with this rag tag lineup and odd bench. If there was a DH, Hawk and his 30HRs and 110 RBIs would be mine. However, these NO DH leagues are designed to thwart Hawk Taylor. It's a conspiracy I tell ya'!

Hey, I'm seeing a request on DD from John Law to drop Luis Aparicio? Is this an accident? I guessing so....

I approved the drop of D. Knowles, you need to pick Aparicio back up before someone accidently picks him.

How will the divisions be decided? I'm also not sure how I will actually put my team into the league. Have invites already been sent out?

divisions are by draft position

East: 1,4,7,10
Central: 2,5,8,11
West: 3,6,9,12

so you are in the West with: Paul_Long, gfdwarf, and JohnLaw

we will have to wait to load until the first 8 teams load their teams in.

Thanks man. Appreciate the info.
I really enjoy drafting like this, you can put more of your personality in your team, but the wait can be excruciating sometimes!!! But, I truly understand. It will really begin to flow tomorrow.

I'm assuming if near the end you have made a mathematical salary mistake, you can drop some players in order to make the roster/salary cap fit?

you can correct your team AFTER the online draft and AFTER the autodraft is run. You must put the 25 guys you drafted on your autodraft card. No "fixes" until waivers.
