Guessin POTY means player of the year?

V- Im glad it doesnt bother you; it does bug me, but maybe thats my issue?; I asked, so thanks for input.

makes it more palatable to me if at least an owner acknowledges that he 'looked' at my teams- I personally, am vain and like to get credit for the once in a blue moon I actually come up with an idea that actually works/doesn't suck.

...and it is very very disturbing to me that a player can be caught cheating- using 2 accounts for 2 teams in the same league, If Im not mistaken, and still be playing with both of those accounts...and be in the same league yet again.
I am in the league in question, Im getting the story second hand and am not sure on the whole thing, but if thats the case, why in god's name would we allow it?

Post of the year.

I laughed for a good minute at the farting in the elevator analogy

Nev and friends,

This is an opinion question, right?

My opinion is that copying a winning strategy IS reasonable. I will admit to looking at winning teams and shamelessly asking advice from those more experienced in this game in attempts to improve my team's chances of doing well. I find it hard to believe that any manager with a winning record has not used lessons learned from other teams to help them succeed. Heck, I learn a lot from losing teams too.

That said, I don't think most would disagree with my opinion that lying is not admireable.

This does not seem to be all that grey from my point of view. (and thanks by the way Nev, Valen, PKB and Salt for the lessons you have tought 8-) )

Hackra-

Just so you know I find you to be a very cool person to talk with.

and I also agree on copying strategy. I learned/am learning by watching players who I consider excellent- and Im sure I did use a player or two that I saw on someone else's roster.

I can say that I made a serious effort though, to try and do something different from what I saw, and hopefully to not just use the same players in the same park- of course with a lot of mixed results in my case.

I personally do enjoy coming up with new ideas about how to win in a given park- but its not something that I can do instantaneously, takes a little experimentation.

Hackra, I'm right there with you, and it's good to know that I'm not the only one who shamelessly asks for advice on my teams. And I do use players that have been on other successful teams. That's unavoidable and I don't see how anyone would have a problem with that.

But I've never, nor would I ever, just look at a good team someone has posted and fill out the AD card with all of the same players.

It just seems different to me. Maybe it's not, though.

This should definitely be brought to Bernie's attention. This is the online strat version of MLB gambling rules. It strikes to the integrity of the game. Cannot be allowed.

Once Nev retires and the statute of limitations is up I plan on copying some of his team names.......in particular, "Kiss my Ace".
