[quote:a800ed2d71="blackjack57"]Owners must keep at least 15 players (any combo of pitchers/hitters) from their two drafted teams.[/quote:a800ed2d71]

This is definitely a good idea otherwise you could really hold rights to your drafted 1/2 teams, drop most of them, and pick up a whole lot of other players from the remaining 18 teams....so having some control to prevent that is a great idea.

Just curious when the draft is going to start, so I don't keep needlessly checking in 8-)

Whenever Risden picks, he said he would "pick shortly" several hours ago.
It's possible he already picked on stratdraft (I finished set-up this morning), but I was planning on using the ILC for the 1st round.

One question on Stratdraft - how do we pick a 1/2 team there...I see individual players but nothing to show 1/2 team. Or should we be picking the second half (round 2) on the ILC thread? And only do individual players on Stratdraft.

Click on "Draft Players"- "Batters" "All", each team's hitters (or pitchers under pitchers-all) are listed in alphabetical order among the individual players. They are listed as a unit with total salary.

Okay, so on round 2 if I go to draft the Seattle hitters I have to go click on 'draft' next to every players name that is from Seattle? Would one click equate to a draft selection for a round so when you draft one player your round selection is over? Or does it let you select 15 players in one round? Or maybe I'm missing something. ILC seems quicker and easier for round 2 for a 1/2 team selectoin...but that's just my thought based on this.[/quote:caf3626a76]

No, each team's staff or hitters is listed as a unit with the total salary. They are listed as "Arizona, Hitters, Atlanta, Hitters", etc. You only need to select the total unit, not each player. I input them manually, you will need to open the player set browser on SOMO if you want to see the individual players together as a team.

Reason to use stratdraft in round 2 is so salaries are calculated automatically as soon as picks are made. If people want to pick here then I can input the picks myself when I have time, which is what I will do in the 1st round.
