I think instead of just assigning him a set of players we should either just skip his pick or put things on hold to see if we can find a replacement. Just my 2 cents.

I would agree - rather than stick him with a 1/2 team he didn't pick, skip him and continue, then it becomes an issue if he drops to pick #12 - where you consider a replacement if he doesn't become available. Maybe have a replacement lined up just in case - maybe Ducapa would consider being on stand by. I sent a note to Pirhala in the other league as well.

If I looked it up right, Pirhala's last post for this league was 8/30, and for any forum post was on 9/5, 11 days ago....so maybe he is away and doesn't realize the format has changed and the draft is underway.

Sorry for the delay. Have a lot going on right now with degree work and moving across the Atlantic back to the US. Hopefully things should settle soon, and I will be paying more attention now that the draft has started. Oh, and they have now blocked all internet access to sports at work, which is where I did most of my planning and preparing.

My work did that too for awhile, blocked everything sports related and everything that streamed video or music. They reversed it all after a month ... I'm guessing some of the higher-ups got sick of not being able to surf the web.
